Partial Shrink Sleeves

Custom partial shrink sleeves place printed graphics around a selected section of a bottle or jar while leaving other areas exposed. Start with the part you want to label and the parts you want customers to see.

Complete red-lid transparent jar with a yellow partial body label beside its unfolded printed sleeve
Our jar sample shows the complete container and separate printed label. The red lid and upper transparent area remain exposed, making the coverage boundary easy to see.

Partial Versus Full Body Sleeves

A partial sleeve occupies a selected height of the container. A full body sleeve extends over most of the main body. Both can carry graphics around the circumference; a partial sleeve is not merely a front sticker.

Choose the coverage approach by considering the branding area, required product information and exposed container sections. A shorter sleeve is not automatically suitable for every taper or contour: its position and fit still need checking.

Plan the Exposed and Printed Areas

  • Top and bottom boundaries: mark both edges on a container photo or drawing, rather than giving only a label height.
  • Product visibility: show the transparent areas or original container finish you want to retain.
  • Grip and opening: identify grip surfaces, the shoulder, lid and dispensing parts that should stay clear.
  • Information space: provide the text, barcode and graphics that need to fit within the shorter printed area.
  • Container profile: provide circumference or width/depth at the intended label zone and show any taper or recess.

Information for a Custom Partial Sleeve Quote

Send your bottle or jar photos, measured dimensions with units, intended coverage, artwork and quantity per design. Include the container material, application method, destination and requested delivery date. If the bottle is still being developed, identify which measurements are provisional.

Our team will review fit, dimensions, seam position and the specification before production approval. Thickness, shrink performance, tolerances, minimum order quantity and supply format are confirmed for the individual project, not inferred from this sample.

Material and Production Review

Coverage and film selection are separate decisions. Review PET shrink sleeve labels or PVC shrink sleeve labels with your application requirements. Our custom printing process covers artwork and production preparation.

Typical production is approximately 5–15 days after artwork and specifications are confirmed; the order schedule, sample requirements and shipping time are agreed separately.

Partial Sleeve Questions

Is a partial sleeve a tamper-evident neck band?

Not necessarily. This page concerns partial body decoration. If you need a closure-covering or opening feature, describe it separately for production review.

Can the contents remain visible?

Yes, an exposed transparent container area can remain visible. Mark that area on your drawing so the intended sleeve edges can be reviewed.

Can one label size fit several jars?

Do not assume this from their nominal capacity. Send the dimensions and profiles of every container so shared sizing can be assessed.
